Great Lakes Crossing Play Area in Auburn Hills

Our last trip up to Great Lakes Crossing was a fantastic experience.  We participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for Sea Life, the kids got to burn some energy in the Play area and we ate lunch at The Rainforest Cafe.

Just in case you are unfamiliar, Great Lakes Crossing is located on Baldwin Road, just off of I-75 in Auburn Hills.  The outlets hosts hundred of outlet stores, a food court, movie theater and more.  It is a great place to spend the day.

Usually when we visit this play area is crazy busy.  But if you get there when the mall doors open (we got there at 9am) I have been told it is nice and relaxing.

There are lots of foods for the children to climb, jump and slide on.

Rosa, Enzo and Carlyn had a grand time playing.

The one thing I didn’t like is the two unobstructed entrances (exits) on opposite sides of the play area.  Since we were the only ones here for quite some time, it wasn’t even an issue, but in the past it made it difficult for one person to monitor more than one child.

For an extra treat, children can ride the Carousel.  We passed on this experience, and instead splurged for lunch at The Rainforest Cafe.  (Review coming soon.)
