Michigan fruit and vegetable farms usually start in May and some run until November. Summer berries are typically available from June through September. The best time to pick raspberries is from July until October. While the strawberry season is in June. Blueberries are generally available from the end of July until the end of August. And finally, blackberry season is from early June until the end of July.

There is nothing like a fresh tomato on your salad or sandwich. They are typically available throughout August as well as September. And even though watermelon is thought to be a summer crop, they don’t come ripe until August in Michigan.
