Annual Downtown Detroit Tree Lighting on November 17, 2023

Downtown Detroit is decked with 64-foot Michigan-grown Norway spruce decked out with ornaments and illuminated by thousands of shimmering LED multi-colored lights – after a countdown by Santa. This is a free event that you don’t want to miss to kick off the holiday season. There will be stellar performances by Olympic figure skaters, the best skaters in metro Detroit and live musical acts, holiday shopping, food trucks, unique lighting attractions across Downtown Detroit.

Shop and Gather at Cadillac Lodge Detroit

Downtown Detroit has an outdoor holiday market with a collection of curated Detroit vendors offering specialty apparel, accessories, jewelry, bath products, home décor, children’s toys, pet goods, books, snacks and more. After you are finished with your shopping spree, enjoy gathering around the warm fireplace and sipping hot drinks and food at The Cadillac Lodge.

Winter at Monroe Street Midway

The Village of Rochester Hills Shopping Center Fireworks Display and Free Visits with Santa

The Village of Rochester Hills, metropolitan Detroit’s premier outdoor lifestyle shopping and dining destination, is once again kicking off the most wonderful time of the year on Friday, November 17, 2023 with their annual Light The Village holiday celebration.  The 375,000 square foot outdoor shopping center will be covered with over 800,000 dazzling-colored lights and offer an evening of family-fun entertainment. The event will delight folks of all ages and include holiday music and entertainment, delicious food, a spectacular fireworks display, and Santa Claus’s first appearance for 2023!

The Light The Village event is taking place on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
Free Shuttle service to/from Adams High School is available from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.
