Stroll the lantern-lit streets while enjoying sights, sounds and smells of Christmas from long ago. Guests can learn how traditions have evolved to those we still celebrate today. Learn about the origins of drinking hot chocolate at the Giddings Family Home. Hear about popular stocking stuffers at the J.R. Jones General Store. Step inside the early days of Christmas at the Ford home, Edison Homestead as well as Sarah Jordan’s Boarding House. Take home a bit of inspiration for your own holiday meals after watching holiday recipes come to life during the cooking demonstrations inside the historic kitchens.
You can also enhance your experience by adding dinner at A Taste of History. Your family can enjoy a meal and will have the opportunity to meet Santa. The Supper with Santa events sells out early, so best to grab your tickets soon.
The Holiday Nights Experience
Your ticket will not only include admission to visit Greenfield Village, but also free carousel rides. Guests may also visit with Santa and his live reindeer. Carolers as well as live musical performances will entertain guests. Finally, Christmas trees and greens will be available for purchase.
Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village Ticket Info
Holiday Nights at Greenfield village will be held every weekend in December. The dates of the event will be December 2-4, 9-11, 15-23, 26-28, 2022. The hours will be from 6:30 pm until 10:00 pm. However, members can gain early access at 6:00 pm.
