  • Defy Detroit – If you have a child who dreams of leaping buildings in a single bound, then check out Defy Detroit. It is an amazing indoor air sports arena with 35,000 square feet of fun. Ferndale Indoor Play Area

  • Nature’s Playhouse – Nature’s Playhouse is here to provide a welcoming, all-natural play and wellness center supporting all members of a family and caregiving community.

Milford Indoor Play Spaces

  • Kensington Metropark Nature Center – Seven miles of Kensington Metropark nature trails, as well as exhibits that put a spotlight on the wildlife found at the park.
  • Milford Historic Museum – They are organized exclusively for educational purposes. They bring together people who are interested in history, especially the history of the village of Milford & Milford Township.

  • Mill Race Village – History is preserved at Mill Race Historical Village, a gem of the Northville community. Created in 1972 by the Northville Historical Society, Mill Race Village serves as a focal point for the Northville community.

Novi Indoor Play Area

  • AirTime Trampoline & Game Park – Amusement center.
  • Mega Fun and Fitness – MEGA offers more than just a great place for gymnastics. They have a safe and fun environment for students to develop friendships & explore new challenges.
  • Novi Ice Arena – This beautiful multi-surface facility offers two NHL-regulation sized ice sheets with seating capacities of 750 and 250, heated viewing areas, pro shop, two cafés, skate rental and space for meetings and parties.
  • Paradise Park – Amusement park offers a go-kart track & mini-golf plus an indoor arcade, laser tag & a pizza cafe.
  • Putting Edge – Glow in the dark golf.
  • Twelve Oaks Mall Play Space – The custom-designed indoor play area contains a variety of climbing structures, tunnels and interactive elements to keep kids active and engaged. Several of the structures feature sensory components including sound and lighting. The soft, durable foam sculptures are constructed with certified antimicrobial materials to ensure a safe and healthy play experience.

Oak Park Indoor Playground & Ice Skating

  • Oak Park Ice Arena – Public skating, drop-in hockey, hockey club and leagues. The facility includes a dining room, concession area and pro shop. Open seasonally from August 20th through May 31st.
  • Studio I-Play – Offers a soft play area that is perfect for kids to run, climb, slide, build, draw, and also express themselves. They have a giant slide, climbing area, building blocks, as well as a bounce house.

Orion Township Gymnastics Center

  • fLipSpot Gymnastics and Cheer – The facility offers gymnastic and cheer training along with open gym times, parent’s night out, as well as birthday parties. Guests can utilize the trampolines, foam pits, uneven parallel bars, rings, horses and also balance beams.

  • The Pine Grove Historical Museum – Pine Grove consists of 4 1/2 acres of land, the Wisner mansion and several out-buildings, including a summer kitchen, outhouse, smokehouse and root cellar.

Indoor Playground in Rochester

  • Rochester Play! – Rochester – Visitors can climb, jump, roll, slide, swing, crawl, explore, and also play!  In fact, this northern Michigan themed, soft cushioned climbing structure provides plenty of opportunities for gross motor activities!  In short, the play area, structure, and games are built for good, active, old fashioned playing.  They also offer a separate, smaller play structure that is reserved for toddlers under the age of four that provides lots of fun activities that are more age appropriate.
  • Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve – The nature center building looks expansive, however, the space allotted for guests is quite limited.  Guests can see live animals, stuffed animals, fossils, artifacts, some toys, plants, a bee display, books, maps as well as rocks inside the building.
  • Friendship Factory – The Friendship Factory is all about Spreading the Sparkle each and every day! Spreading Sparkle in the Community is focused on spreading kindness and love to kids in need of some sparkle magic!
  • Meadow Brook Hall – A historic home which represents one of the finest examples of Tudor-revival architecture in America.
  • Oakland University Art Gallery – Presents six different exhibitions – from cutting-edge contemporary art to projects exploring historical and global themes. The gallery also presents lectures, performances, tours, special events and more.
  • Suburban Ice Arena – Featuring three sheets of ice, Suburban Ice Rochester – formerly known as the Onyx – joined the corporate family in 2016.
  • RARA Indoor Playscape – This 3-level play structure has 3 slides, tunnels, obstacles, and more.  A toddler area is separated for children under 3 years. The playscape can accommodate up to 50 guests. The playscape is for children under 12 years of age and socks must be worn. 

Rochester Hills Indoor Playground

  • The Arts Castle – An arts school for children.
  • Boogie Babies – The 5,400 square foot indoor play space is best for children under the age of 7, however, they have several activities to keep older children entertained during their visit. Play areas include a small jungle gym, kitchen, trampoline, blocks as well as a dramatic play area. Children can also enjoy the movie and dance room. Furthermore, there is a baby zone designed specifically for younger guests.
  • Gymnastics Training Center – Rochester Hills – Visitors can enjoy several many different activities such as trampolines, balance beams and a bounce house.
  • Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm – A nationally registered historic site that contains the 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse, the 1888 Red House and the 1927 Dairy Barn.
  • The Oakland Fieldhouse – The Oakland Fieldhouse offers families a space to enjoy their favorite sport, either during open gym, tournaments or house leagues. In addition to the spacious gym space, they also offer snacks at the Oakland Fieldhouse Cafe as well as birthday parties in a 2,000 square foot party space. They will also host summer camps — including one with the Detroit Pistons organization.
  • Gymboree Play & Music – The specially designed Gymboree Play & Music classes incorporate age-appropriate activities that help children develop physical, cognitive, and social skills as they play.

Royal Oak Indoor Playground

  • Inflatable Playspaces -Indoor bounce house facility that offers six structures, including a double slide as well as an obstacle course. Inflatable Playspaces also hosts a private party room with a refrigerator and counters making it a great location for your child’s next birthday party.

  • Troy Community Center – Indoor Aquatic Center – The indoor pool area includes a includes adult therapy pool, lap lanes, slides together with a water toy area. There are also pool noodles, kick boards and basketballs for the kids (or adults) to use.  Visitors can enjoy a zero depth entrance, warm water as well as warm air in the pool area.  
  • Troy Gymnastics -If you are looking for a great way for your kids to burn off some extra energy, then check out the open gym at Troy Gymnastics. Currently they offer open gym seven days a week across three different gyms. The facility also offers ropes courses, ninja courses, parkour, as well as open swimming.
  • Troy Sports Center LLC –  Four NHL size ice skating rinks offered to the general public.

Troy Nature Center

  • Lloyd A. Stage Nature Center – If you are looking for some great indoor fun, then check out the Nature Center building itself. Visitors can enjoy a dinosaur dig pit, as well as a play area that has toys, puzzles, and touch stations. Additionally, there is a toad tank, and a collection of stuffed (taxidermy) and also animals to look at. In short, your children will be busy for hours.  The center also offers classes and group tours.

Troy Indoor Playground

  • Troy Museum and Historic Village – The Troy Historic Village is a collection of 11 buildings surrounding a gazebo and green in the heart of Troy, Michigan. Filled with the collections and stories of the 1800s settlement and 1900s growth in the Troy area, staff and volunteers use these buildings to bring history to life for visitors of all ages.

  • Safari Playground – Safari Playground offers a Safari Themed adventure for all ages. Adults can come and relax watch TV, use the Internet, enjoy a cup of coffee and have lunch, catch up on paper works or just come and have your kids have a blast.   • Elite Sportsplex – Premier sports complex.
  • Lakeland Tri-Arena – Lakeland Arena is located in Waterford, Michigan and offers year round skating. From organized hockey and figure skating, to open skate and sticks and pucks they have you covered!
