Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum contrary to its name is a macabre themed arcade. The arcade is small but has a variety of games from the antique to mainstream contemporary games.
Marvin’s is jam packed with 40 foot ceilings and 5,500 square feet of floor space containing a variety of enchanting new and vintage machine oddities. Every square inch includes a unique piece of family fun to be explored 365 days a year!
Public parking is available outside the entrance with handicap accessibility.
Ski ball is just one of the classic games to test your skills at, walking players back in time to a carnival scene of long ago.
The classic gypsy fortune teller and a skeleton bicyclist call Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum home, dating back to the 1800’s.
More than 10 vintage pinball games can be found amongst the marvel as well as vintage stand-up arcade games that will send you through a virtual walk down memory lane.
Be sure to keep an eye to the sky during your visit as hundreds of planes, fans and other fare await you hanging from the ceiling above.
Refreshments are served for additional cost including many carnival fare favorites! Pizza, popcorn and cotton candy are just a few of the favorites I sampled during my visit.
Marvins Marvelous Mechanical Museum is located at 31005 Orchard Lake Rd. in Farmington Hills. Admission is free and gaming costs anywhere from a penny to a few dollars. Please check the website for daily hours, but rest assured that you can plan a visit any day of the year!
