Inflatable Playspaces in Royal Oak is located on Meijer Drive West of Crooks, (just north of 14 Mile). Simply turn west onto Meijer from Crooks and follow the road until it starts to turn, right after the turn you will see Inflatable Playspaces on the left.
This facility offers open bounce from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays and Fridays for $7.95 per child, (adults are free). They do request that you RSVP before you come, but it is not required.
The actual bounce area hosts six inflatable structures.
– a ball bounce where you can kick soccer balls or throw basketballs and footballs,
– a double slide
– a caterpillar obstacle coarse
– a large obstacle coarse with slides
– a regular bounce
– a bounce with large boxing gloves
In addition to the inflatable structures you can add on these features:
– air hockey
– make a bear
– airbrushing/facepainting
– hot dog steamer
– popcorn popper
and more.
Inflatable Playspaces also hosts a private party room with a refrigerator and counters making it a great location for your child’s next birthday party. Additional space is available if you have a large party.
Rosa, at age 2.5 had a great time during our visit. She was able to navigate all of the play structures, the obstacle coarse did provide a challenge for her, but she was able to climb the walls after a try or two. She was afraid of the caterpillar at first, but after some coaxing she tried and enjoyed this bouncer.
Overall the facility was clean and maintained, although there was a bit of an odor in the bounce room when you first entered. The owner was super friendly and helpful during our visit and we look forward to visiting again.
