Sterling Heights Nature Center

Summertime is the best time to get outside and enjoy all that Metro Detroit has to offer by way of Nature Centers and Playgrounds. We made our way out to the Sterling Heights Nature Center to check out their newly renovated space.  WOW.. it is amazing.

The front door opens to an atrium which is set up to be an open habitat for turtles, fish and frogs.  Look carefully and see if you can spot all the free-range animals in this section.  In addition to the live animals, there are a couple of animals that have been stuffed. Check out our video on Facebook from the Sterling Heights Nature Center.

Here is what you can expect to see in the atrium at the Sterling Heights Nature Center, turtles

Frogs.. up close and personal.
