Great Pumpkin Festival

Celebrate fall favorites at Maybury Farm’s most popular event of the year. They will have corn mazes, wagon rides, live music, fall crafts, and eats and treats.
Festival and Farm: $7. Festival, Farm & Corn Maze: $12. Kids under 2 are free.

Register to bring your kids to The Robot Garage for a Kid’s Night Out and they will LOVE that you’re leaving them behind for a night to yourself. Our amazing staff will lead LEGO and robotic activities for ages K-8. Parents are subject to a late fee of $1 per minute for any child who is not picked up within 10 minutes of the end of the event.

  • Description: SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium invites guests to its Fish or Treat event to take part in several Halloween-themed activities —including half off the price of admission for everyone dressed in a costume every day until Halloween. Families can search for ghoulish goodies in the touch pool and see incredible underwater pumpkin carvings in the ocean tank. Underwater pumpkin carvings will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15 and 22 and at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Food, hayrides and other items will be available for purchase!

Stone Wall Pumpkin Festival – Pumpkin Lighting
Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm 1005 Van Hoosen Rd, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48306
$5 Museum Members $8 Public Children under 2 are free

Come and enjoy the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm’s signature event – the Stone Wall Pumpkin Festival. The presenting sponsor is Genisys Credit Union. Activities during the day include food, pumpkin bowling, Stoney Creek High School Drum line, a Rochester Hills Fire Truck, and more! Guests are invited to carve a pumpkin and place it on the stone walls surrounding the Museum property and return in the evening to see all the pumpkins lighted up! The Museum is hoping to exceed its record of 1,011 pumpkins lighted at one time. In addition, an outdoor exhibit of scarecrows made by local organizations will be on display. The Museum will provide stencils and carving tools but guests are encouraged to bring their own carving tools from home. Evening lighting of the pumpkins runs from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and a financial donation in any amount is requested to support the Rochester Area Neighborhood House.

Katie Rork

Katie is a hard workin' momma who loves to be where the people are. She has a daughter named Charlotte (almost 4 years old), a son named Silas (19 months old), and her husband's name is Jeff (married 6 years). She graduated from Madonna University with a degree in Broadcast and Cinema Arts. She shared her love and passion for journalism at 9&10 News, Northern Michigan's News Leader for 8 years as a reporter and anchor. Her family moved to Metro Detroit to be closer to family and her husband's new job. Katie is excited to write for MDM and help other mommas!
