1. Beverly Park Sledding Hill in Beverly Hills

Beverly HIlls Park Sledding Hill

One of our favorite free sledding hills near Metro Detroit, the Sledding Hill at Beverly Hills Park (aka Beverly Hills Village Park) offers two sides to enjoy. The east side features a single slope that’s fast and smooth. On the other hand, the west side offers a more adventurous ride with two hills and a plateau in the middle. The best part is, the north and south sides of both sledding hills have stairs and railings for guests to use to return to the top of the sledding hills. Whew! The hills are located on Beverly Road, just west of Southfield Road thus making this a one of the best things for kids to do near the metro area. Did we mention this 34-acre park also offers one of the nicest ice skating rinks near Metro Detroit.
