Heritage Park offers 211 acres to explore in the winter, including 4.5 miles of hiking trails, cross-country skiing trails, the Farmington Hills Nature Center, and a sledding hill. During the warmer months, guests can also enjoy the splash pad, group picnic shelter, youth playground, in-ground grills, two sand volleyball courts, an in-line hockey rink, and six horseshoe pit. Heritage Park is also home to the Spicer House, Stables Art Studio, Day Camp and Amphitheatre buildings.
Heritage Park in Farmington Hills is open from sunrise to sunset year-round. If you plan to go sledding, you will find the sledding hill near the north end of the park, close to the marsh viewing area and conveniently located near the parking lot.

Should you need to use the restroom, the closest facilities are near the south side of the parking lot, near the playground.
