Monroe Street Midway Bids Farewell, Welcoming Downtown Street Eats and Summer Markets to Detroit

Metro Detroit residents, take note: Monroe Street Midway is no longer in operation. This beloved gathering spot, known for its vibrant events and community atmosphere, has made way for exciting new ventures that promise to keep the heart of downtown Detroit bustling with activity and flavor.

In place of Monroe Street Midway, Detroit welcomes Downtown Street Eats and Summer Markets. Located in Cadillac Square, these new attractions are set to offer an unparalleled urban experience. Downtown Street Eats features a rotating lineup of Detroit’s best food trucks, ensuring a diverse and delicious array of culinary options. From gourmet burgers to vegan delights, there’s something to satisfy every palate.

But the excitement doesn’t stop at food. The Summer Markets bring a unique shopping experience to downtown, with local vendors offering a variety of goods, from handmade crafts to fresh produce. It’s the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind treasures and support local artisans.

These new additions are part of an ongoing effort to enhance the vibrancy of downtown Detroit. With food, shopping, and community at its core, Cadillac Square is set to become a go-to destination for residents and visitors alike.

So, while we bid farewell to Monroe Street Midway, there’s plenty to look forward to with Downtown Street Eats and the Summer Markets. Come down to Cadillac Square and see what’s cooking and discover the latest local finds.
