Stony Creek Metropark is part of the Huron-Clinton Metropark system which is comprised of thirteen parks across southeast Michigan. Most of the park is located in Washington Township as well as Oakland Township, with a small portion and entrance in Shelby Township. This 4,461-acre park hosts a golf course, campground, nature center, beach, together with disc golf, sports fields, trails and more.
Visitors can enjoy swimming as well as fishing at the 500-acres Stony Creek Lake. Furthermore, the trails offer paths to walk, bike, run, or skate through woodland, wetland, and prairie habitats.
Stony Creek Metropark Eastwood Beach
The Eastwood Beach at Stony Creek offers a sandy coastline for swimming, a grassy shoreline for soaking up the sun not to mention plenty of space for playing sports. In addition to lake fun, the park offers paddleboard and bike rental, concessions, sand volleyball, and an amazing playground for the kids.
There many different play structures for older children coupled with a toddler structure for younger guests. Their swing options include bucket swings for infants, regular swings, as well as two high backed swings.
The structure is near the restrooms with ample picnic tables, seating for adults, garbage cans in addition to a few trees to provide an escape from the sun.

Annual Passes Seniors (age 62+) $29
Daily $10 per vehicle
At the present time, park hours are from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. It is important to realize that gates close by 9:00 pm and all guests must leave by 10:00 pm.
