Indian Springs Metropark is located at 5200 Indian Trail White Lake, MI 48386. The playground and park is open year round while the Spray ‘n’ Play area is open Memorial Day to Labor Day 11 am – 7 pm daily. Cost: Park admission $35 annual or $10 Daily (2018).
Indian Springs Metropark’s Spray ‘n’ Play consists of a water spray area, scale a rock-climbing wall or cargo net and explore a maze. Three distinct areas accommodate older children. A toddler area includes a painted labyrinth and sand pit with oversized scoopers for digging.
A couple of covered pavilions with picnic tables are available for picnickers. There are also a few tables spread out around the perimeter of the Spray ‘n’ play area. Within the spray area, there is plenty of seating available along the walls of the structure.
The girls both had a ton of fun in all of the spray features. That being said. We won’t be back. The water was super cold. The structure is old and the ground is starting to disintegrate, leaving Carlyn’s legs covered in little pieces of blue and green ground covering that she was trying to eat. The lawn had been mowed and grass was all over the place. Also, port-a-potties are better than nothing I guess, but they were gross (aren’t they all) and the closest real restrooms were at the Nature Center.

While the water features were fun, they are timed so that most of them are off and only a few features run at a time. It seemed that as soon as we got to a feature it would stop and we would have to go to another, and all the kids that were there were vying for the few that were working.
We did spend some time playing on the nearby playground. The maze above looked really cool, but after spending so much time in the splash area, Carlyn was ready to go home for a nap.
