Lake St. Clair Metropark Pool

This park also offers a 50-meter swimming pool with two main areas for swimming. In addition to the swimming areas, there are two water slides and two rock walls. However, the rock walls were closed during our visit. The website states that there is also an inflatable obstacle course available, but it wasn’t set up during our visit this year (likely due to COVID).

Lake St. Clair's Metropark Pool

Currently, the cost of the pool is $4 per person for one session. Children under 30″ can swim for free. Daily swimming sessions from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Lake St. Clair Metropark offers restrooms, dressing rooms, heated showers, as well as coin-operated lockers in the bathhouse. The bathhouse is located conveniently next to the pool.

The Playground

The playscape encompasses about 40,000 square feet and includes several play structures as well as swings. A toddler play area is located closer to the parking lot with a structure together with bucket and ADA swings. In addition to the structures, there are several elements that will test your child’s vestibular sense and balance. The play area is just a short distance from the parking lot and restroom facilities are also located nearby.
