There is plenty of room for parents to sit and watch the kiddo’s as they splash and play. Similarly, there are even a couple of shaded areas under big blue tarps. In general, the splash pad is enclosed with a netted fence, with two ungated sidewalk entry points. Thus making it easier for parents to keep track of their children.
The squirt zone contains several water jets that are spread out over the cemented surface. Additionally, there are a few spray features, as well as a couple of water guns that children can interact with.
Restrooms are conveniently located near the pool facility. The building also houses changing rooms and shower facilities.
Lake St. Clair Metropark also offers a playground, nature center & trails, hiking, biking, beach, and restroom facilities. For an additional fee, parkgoers can enjoy the pool, a game of golf as well as mini-golf.
