Hoover Elementary Playground is located on the south side of Woodward Heights, between Hoover and Hughes. Hoover Elementary is one of three elementary schools in Hazel Park.
The playground featured two structures as well as swings. The two structures provide children with plenty of places to climb, swing, slide and bounce. Some of the more interesting features of this playground are the bridge, stepping stones, and monkey bars. There is a picnic table coupled with a bench for seating. Additionally, the playground is host to a baseball field.

The playground is available for public use from dawn until dusk, excluding the times when the elementary school is in session.
