They also offer Drop-In Workshops for children 12 and under where kids can create their own artists inspired creation to take home, free with museum admission.
Many communities offer some great opportunities for youngsters to learn and have fun over the summer.

Many Libraries offer story time, free movies, group activities and more.

Local Nature Centers offer learning programs and communities offer free movies in the park, concerts and other fun family activities. Check with your local recreation department, nature center, library or city hall for more information about programs near you.

Kids Bowl FREE… it’s a great program where parents just have to sign up and they get two free games of bowling for their youngster for the summer at one of over 30 different locations.  It is a national program and I have participated a few times.
