Bedford Woods Park is a great community park that has a lot to offer including a soccer field, picnic tables, jogging/fitness trails, as well as 2 baseball fields. The playscape has areas for both younger and older visitors.

Tire swings, bridges, toddler swings, together with slides are just a few of the features on the stationary play structures of Bedford Woods. The park is well kept by the city, with wood chips deep enough to break the inevitable falls that can happen during play!
The playscape also has space for open-ended learning, children can run and move freely or stop into this “clubhouse” to create their own ice cream shop or drive through!
If you are a sports enthusiast, then you can find seasonal games happening and watch from spectator viewing in the bleachers or a nearby bench.
At the present time, the City of Southfield has an interactive VR image of Bedford Woods Park located at 29500 Lathrup Blvd in Southfield, just north of 12 Mile Road. Bathrooms are not open year-round, so be sure to hit the restroom before your visit! The city’s website invites viewers to take a virtual tour of all the parks and includes a google map link as well as a list of park amenities!
