Wanda Park is located on the corner of Wanda Street and East Hazelhurst in Ferndale. The park offers a play structure, swings, baseball diamond, along with open space to play.
The play structures are old and outdated, however, the park is slated for an update according to the Ferndale Parks and Rec website. The update was approved in 2018 and is already in progress. The baseball diamond has undergone a recent update. Scheduled improvements include an access pathway, park bench, bike rack, recycle bins, landscaping, drinking fountain, as well as a pavilion and picnic areas. Additionally, the playground and swings will be updated. Visitors can look forward to bench swings, play mounds and volleyball to be added to this park.
Currently, there are a few picnic tables and benches for seating. There are also a few grills at this park, making it a nice picnic spot.
