Standard King Bed Hotel Room at Island Resorts and Casino

Mini adult getaways are the perfect way to refuel, so you can be the best parent you can be. Last week, hubby and I got to visit the Island Resort & Casino in Harris, Michigan. The resort is about a 7-hour drive away from the Detroit area. Our King Bed Hotel Room at Island Resorts stay was complimentary, to facilitate the article. All opinions are my own. Your experience may differ.

Just a few miles east of Escanaba, Michigan lies Island Resort & Casino. It’s the perfect vacation destination for those who love to gamble, golf, or enjoy a spa getaway. Nature enthusiasts will love the plethora of State Parks within the area, including the amazing Pictured Rocks, and Kitch-iti-kipi. History buffs will love the nearby Fayette State Park.

The spacious bathroom offers a single sink along with ample counter space and hairdryer. In addition to the bathroom and main room, the space had a generous closet area too.

However, we did note that the room does not have a microwave or refrigerator. We did appreciate the desk space available, and comforatable work chair. Another point to note, ice machines were only available on every other floor.
