Since its grand opening on June 15, 2003, the Southfield Public Library has expanded to house over 250,000 volumes, 250 computers, and 1,000 wired internet connections within its 127,000 square feet. In 2023, the library proudly celebrated 20 years at its current location and transitioned to a fine-free model, ensuring that all community members have unfettered access to its resources.
