Recently my family and I headed out to Perfect Game in Farmington Hills to check out the newly renovated entertainment facility. The Perfect Game covered the cost of our visit in order to facilitate this feature article. Perfect Game is located at 35000 Grand River Ave just east of Drake Road.
The son and father team, Simon and Michael Shearer recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation to convert Drakeshire Lanes in Farmington Hills into what is now Perfect Game. The 37.000 square foot family activity center is home to a bowling alley as well as an arcade with over 50 games. The business also hosts a prize redemption area, two-story, 3,700 square foot laser tag court, dining room (featuring a full menu) and bar together with private rooms for birthday parties.
Perfect Game Bowling
At the present time, Perfect Game hosts over thirty lanes for bowling. The traditional lanes offer computerized scoring, lane bumpers, bowling ramp assist for younger bowlers, shoe rental, in addition to vibrantly color-coded (by weight) bowling balls.
Arcade
The arcade is home to more than fifty video games and a ticket redemption center. Guests can try out a wide variety of games, from games of skill to games of chance as well as games for younger guests to those for adults. In other words, the arcade is packed with enough to keep you busy for hours.
Laser Tag
If you ask Rosa (age 9) and Carlyn (age 6) what their favorite part about their visit was, they will tell you it was the Laser Tag. The facility offers a 3,700 square-foot multi-level laser tag court with multiple gameplay options. Chancellor also enjoyed the game. I loved how each equipment pack came with a pre-designated code name.
Dining and Grill
In addition to all the fun family-friendly activities, this venue offers a full menu, dining area and full-service bar.
During our visit, we tried many of the menu items. Nachos, pizza, tater tots, chicken wings, and a caesar salad. All the items were tasty.
