Beverly Park in Beverly Hills is a great place to spend a few hours. The park hosts two playground structures, swings, volleyball as well as basketball courts, baseball fields, tennis courts, disc golf course, wooded nature area with a trail for biking/walking, a sledding hill and ice skating rink. The 34-acre park is located at 18801 Beverly Road, between Southfield and Evergreen Roads north of 13 Mile.

There are two playground structures, one for toddlers and one for older children. Although Carlyn (age 22 months) had no problem navigating the large play structure on her own (with me watching very carefully).
In addition to the structures, there are many other pieces of play equipment, like swings, a sandbox, a tire swing, and more.
There is even a covered pavilion with picnic tables.
Which is right next to the bathrooms and water fountain.
I did have to laugh, because, there is pay phone too. Just in case your cell phone dies and you happen to have some spare change in your pocket to make a call.
The park is lovely and very well maintained.

Beverly Hills Parks
Riverside Park – a 1/2 acre park with a picnic table, grill, and access to Mill Pond. Visitors can enjoy fishing, nature, as well as the green space.
Douglas Evans Nature Preserve – an 18-acre nature park with limited access for walking and nature study.
Beverly Park – a 34-acre park offering a wide variety of outdoor recreation opportunities. Park amenities include a sled hill, ice skating rink together with a playground. Sports offerings include sand volleyball and basketball courts, two baseball fields and two tennis courts, a large playground, disc golf course, as well as a wooded natural area with trails for biking/hiking. Finally, a Little Free Libray is located near the playground.
