These cinnamon sugar apple rings are an easy breakfast addition or treat. Dipped in a batter and seared, they have a soft fluffy outside with a satisfying crunch inside. Apples are a great source of fiber, antioxidants and vitamins like C and A. They support healthy digestion, immune function and healthy vision.

Ingredients:
- 2 apples, cored and sliced
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2/3 cups milk
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- For dipping: 2 Tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, cinnamon milk, vegetable oil, milk and egg until smooth.
- Heat a pan coated with a bit of vegetable oil over medium-low heat.
- Dip apple rings in the mixture until evenly covered and add to pan. Sear on both sides until golden.
- In another bowl, mix the dipping mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
- While warm, dip the seared apple rings in the cinnamon sugar mixture to help it stick. Serve warm.
