Why You Love Metro Detroit Mommy…

Metro Detroit Mommy aims to be your number one resource for family fun in metro Detroit. We began in 2010 as our founder realized that there were no resources for family fun listed online, and searches for things-to-do became tedious. We strive to be the one-stop-shop for family activities to save you the time and frustration of always trying to come up with new experiences for you and your family to enjoy.

Here are our top 5 reasons why we believe you’ll love Metro Detroit Mommy:

You can view our most recent stories here!
We’re Inclusive: Metro Detroit Mommy is building up it’s resources so that the hard to find is easier to find! We’ve added resources for special needs and accessible events and places, and have plans to keep increasing our focus so that we are inclusive to many!
We Have The Biggest Guides: Metro Detroit Mommy usually has the most listings available, as we maintain and build relationships with venues, promoters, non-profits, sponsors, and others, and continuously seek out an extensive list of sources to provide you with the largest variety of options possible.
We’re Local: Metro Detroit Mommy is founded by a local Michigander who was born and raised here in metro Detroit. Since then, we have become a determined group of business creatives, including photographers, writers, project managers, and stay-at-home parents.
We’re There: Metro Detroit Mommy is focused on providing you our own images and stories from our amazing writers and photographers, who seek to ensure that many places and events on our site come from a personal vantage point.
