The 4,400 square foot space is located on Eton Street, just south of Maple Road. The building is set back off the road, just north of a set of industrial buildings. The robot logo makes the business easy to spot.
The Robot Garage opened June 1, 2011, and provides a hands-on experience with robots, Lego, and other building materials that is truly unique. They provide an entertaining and educational environment year-round to all those interested in building and how things work.
The Robot Garage in Birmingham also offers a wide variety of services from birthday parties, classes, workshops, camps, drop-in play, and so much more.
Visitors can enjoy the impressive display of Lego buildings. While the storefront offers a carefully curated selection of Lego sets, robots, and robot kits, along with many other great items.
Just beyond the storefront lies the drop-in play area which features tables filled with Lego Bricks as well as LaQ® from Japan, Plus Plus® from Denmark, and a Mindstorms robot table. Drop-in play is normally available during normal store hours and is only $8 per child for 2 hours.
The Robot Garage is a place that makes you feel at home. The employees are all very helpful and attentive. The owners are very passionate about making The Robot Garage a safe and fun learning space for each person (yes even adults) that walks through the door.
The Robot Garage Store and Drop-in Hours
The Robot Garage in Birmingham is closed on Monday. Tuesday through Friday they are open from 11 am to 6:30 pm. Their Saturday hours are from 10 am to 6:30 pm. Finally, on Sunday the store opens at noon and closes at 5 pm.
