This new splash pad, dedicated to the memory of former FOX 2 Meteorologist Jessica Starr-Rose, at Bosco Fields Park in Novi opened during the summer of 2024. This heartfelt project, driven by the Starr-Rose family and the Novi Parks Foundation, aims to create a joyful space for families while raising awareness about mental health issues.

A Place for Fun and Remembrance

The splash pad, spanning 4,500 square feet, will offer a refreshing escape for kids, parents, grandparents, and friends. Jessica Starr-Rose’s mother, Carol Starr, emphasizes that the splash pad is not only a memorial for her daughter but also a place for families to gather, create memories, and enjoy time together.

Jessica’s Splash Pad Features and Amenities

Located at Bosco Fields Park, the new splash area is surrounded by multi-purpose sports and recreational fields. The park includes 13 soccer fields of various sizes and ample parking areas with access from both Beck Road and 11 Mile Road. Additionally, restrooms and changing stations are available.

Jessica’s Splash Pad Operating Hours and Entry

Jessica’s Splash Pad will operate from 10am until 8pm, starting the Saturday of Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting. The splash pad is free to use, and no entry fee is required. Please note that there will be no lifeguards on duty.
