Kidz Kingdom in Detroit

Today we visited Kidz Kingdom in Detroit.  I can’t tell you how thrilled the opening of this facility makes me.  Detroit needs more places for families to get together in a safe, friendly environment that is full of learning opportunities, Kidz Kingdom provides this all in Detroit.

Owner and Founder Danielle is amazing.  Wife, mother of two boys, and former Deputy Director of of the Office of Charter Schools at Detroit Public Schools, her experience in education and as a parent have contributed to the creation of the first commercial indoor play space in Detroit.

Kidz Kingdom is located in Detroit, just off the Southfield Freeway, near Grand River on Fenkell. The indoor play space is located in the Grandland Shopping Center in the historic Rosedale Park section of Detroit.

Kidz Kingdom provides children with plenty of large motor activities like the bounce house, climber, basketball and tree house, guaranteeing that they will burn off some of that extra energy.

Children can also build with bricks, play in the house, pretend in the kitchen or make an obstacle course with tires.

Tunnels and tubes are available for younger guests, though Naomi (age 18 months) went straight for the tree house as soon as we got her shoes off.

Air Hockey, books, a kitchen area and train table were also available.

My kids had a great time playing here.  We visited for about two hours before naptime caught up with Naomi and Carlyn was getting Hangry.

Kidz Kingdom is also available for Birthday Parties and special events.  They host Character Meet and Greet parties, PNO events, and workshops, so be sure to drop by and like them on Facebook so you can keep up to date on all they have to offer.  You can also follow them on Instagram.
