Rochester is celebrating the installation of 10 reproductions from the Detroit Institute of Arts’ (DIA) world-class collection through the Inside|Out program, available from now until October. This initiative brings high-quality reproductions of artworks from the DIA’s collection to outdoor venues throughout the tri-county area, creating unique opportunities for residents of Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties to engage with art.

Bringing Art to the Community

“The opportunity to bring pieces from the world-renowned DIA collection to Rochester is something we wouldn’t want to miss! We are excited to share this artwork with our community and give them another reason to visit downtown this summer,” said Kristi Trevarrow, Executive Director of the Rochester Downtown Development Authority.

Making Art Accessible

Now in its 15th year, the Inside|Out program aims to make art accessible for tri-county residents. “This special program is all about making art accessible for tri-county residents,” said Julie McFarland, Executive Director of Public Affairs and Engagement at the DIA. “We’re thrilled to bring Inside|Out to Rochester and invite residents to explore, discover, and appreciate the beauty of these artworks in their own backyard.”
