Step right up! 🎪 Glenlore Trails is bringing back one of its most popular fall themes for 2026 with CarnEvil 2, an interactive, illuminated Halloween adventure through the woods in Commerce Township.
Running September 18 through November 1, 2026, CarnEvil 2 transforms Glenlore’s one-mile forest trail into a mysterious carnival midway filled with lights, sounds, interactive experiences, carnival-inspired games, swinging skeletons and plenty of spooky surprises.
And while the name may sound scary, this is family-friendly Halloween fun, not a traditional haunted attraction designed to terrify you.

Step Into the CarnEvil Midway
This year marks the second act of Glenlore Trails’ CarnEvil theme, with all-new experiences mixed with returning fan favorites.
As you make your way through the approximately one-mile trail, you’ll encounter immersive lighting, projection mapping, glowing art installations, interactive displays and carnival-inspired games throughout the forest.
Expect plenty of weird, whimsical and spooky moments along the way, including curious creatures, swinging skeletons and surprises hiding throughout the mysterious midway.
The experience takes approximately 45–60 minutes, although you can take your time exploring, playing the games and stopping for photos.
Optional interactive magic wands add another layer to the experience, allowing guests to unlock additional surprises along the trail.

Is Glenlore Trails CarnEvil Kid-Friendly?
Yes! Despite the spooky CarnEvil theme, Glenlore Trails is designed to be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
Think Halloween atmosphere, glowing skeletons and creepy carnival fun rather than a traditional haunted house filled with intense scares.
Earlier time slots tend to be especially popular with families and younger children, while later evenings typically have a livelier atmosphere.
