TreeRunner Adventure Park in West Bloomfield, 6200 Drake Road, will host a family-friendly Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday April 10th for two different age groups. For kids ages 1-5, the hunt starts at 10 am. There are two hunts for kids 6-10: 10:40 am and 11:30 am. The cost is only $5 for each participant, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the International Committee of the Red Cross in support of Ukraine.
Kids will have the chance to win candy and treats, and one will win a special golden ticket for a free birthday party at TreeRunner. Also, each participant will receive a special surprise from TreeRunner. TreeRunner Adventure Parks are essentially the summer version of skiing, with a variety of different, color-coded aerial trails beginner through expert, that climbers choose from depending on their age or climbing experience. These trails consist of platforms installed in the trees and connected by various configurations of cable, wood, and rope obstacles to form crossings of different kinds including the ever-popular zip lines. Climbers wear harnesses which are doubly secured to safety cables using the Park’s “always locked on” system of interlocking safety clips. Before venturing onto the trails, climbers receive an interactive orientation and practice session.
