Camp Mirage Troy- The Ultimate Summer Camp for 2026

If your kids are ready for a summer packed with excitement, creativity, and unforgettable memories, Camp Mirage Troy is a must-book. This high-energy summer day camp runs weekly from June 8th through August 21st and is known for its fun themed weeks, flexible scheduling, and one of the best before and aftercare programs in Metro Detroit. It’s the kind of camp kids beg to come back to year after year.

A Theme for Every Interest (And Then Some)

One of the biggest reasons families love Camp Mirage Troy is the variety. With dozens of themed camp options, there truly is something for every type of kid.

From creative and STEM-based camps like Hollywood Movie MakingYouTuber Business Boot Camp, and Grossology Experiments Camp to action-packed favorites like Nerf Zombie InvasionFlag FootballSoccer, and Pickleball, each week feels like a brand-new adventure.

They also offer wildly popular character and pop-culture themed weeks, including Harry Potter CampDisney Favorites Camp, and more, giving kids a chance to fully immerse themselves in the worlds they love.

The best part? You’re not locked into just one theme for the summer. Kids can mix and match different weeks based on their interests, which keeps things exciting and prevents that mid-summer boredom slump.

Junior Camp for Younger Campers

For families with younger kids, Junior Camp is a huge win. Designed specifically for younger age groups, Junior Camp offers age-appropriate activities that still capture the magic and energy Camp Mirage is known for.

These camps focus on play-based learning, creativity, social skills, and gentle structure so little ones can build confidence, make friends, and experience their first taste of “big kid” camp in a safe, supportive environment. A few of my daughter’s favorites last year were Princess Superhero Camp and Crazy Crafts Camp.

It’s a fantastic option for preschool and early elementary kids who want a fun, engaging summer without being overran by the bigger kids.

One Week at a Time, Total Flexibility

Unlike traditional camps that require long commitments, Camp Mirage Troy operates on a one-week-at-a-time model. Families can sign up for a single week, a few scattered weeks, or build out their child’s entire summer schedule, all on their own timeline.

This flexibility is a game changer for busy parents juggling vacations, sports schedules, childcare needs, and work commitments. It also lets kids explore different interests week to week instead of doing the same thing all summer long.

Legendary Aftercare

Camp Mirage Troy is especially loved for it’s aftercare program, which is one of the most flexible in the area.

Parents can let their kiddos hang & pick them up as late as 5:30 p.m. You can even drop them off if they DON’T have camp that week for a few hours- no reservation required. After the core camp day ends at noon, campers can stay for rotating activity stations, organized games, sports, creative challenges, and social time with friends.

Billing is done per hour and in 15-minute increments, so you only pay for the time you actually use. For working parents or families with unpredictable schedules, this is a major stress-saver.
