Whether you’re taking a leisurely stroll through the nature trails or embarking on a guided nature walk with one of the center’s knowledgeable staff members, there’s no shortage of natural beauty to discover.

The entrance reveals an atrium designed as a natural habitat, housing turtles, fish, and frogs. Amidst the lush greenery, spot the free-roaming animals, both live and mounted.

Inside, a spacious auditorium seats seventy, ideal for presentations, parties, or school trips. The exhibit room brims with interactive learning opportunities, complete with magnifying glasses and binoculars for closer inspection.

Sterling Heights Nature Center Educational Programs and Events

One of the highlights of the Sterling Heights Nature Center is its diverse range of educational programs and events designed to engage visitors of all ages. Birthday Parties: The Nature Center hosts Saturday parties from 10 am to 12 pm for up to twenty children. Activities include a live amphibian/reptile presentation and an indoor scavenger hunt. A $20 deposit secures your spot. Contact the Nature Center for more details.

Sterling Heights Nature Center

Just over the bridge is Clinton River Park North which hosts a  wonderful playground with slides, climbing elements and swings.  The park also has walking paths, picnic areas and parking.
