Fairytale Fun Place (Formerly Fort Clarkston)

Fort Clarkston is now Fairytale Fun Place.

This indoor play space is located on Dixie Highway (7127 Dixie Hwy, Village of Clarkston, MI 48346) just a short distance south of I-75 in the White Lake Commons shopping plaza (right next to Neiman’s Family Market).

Fort Clarkston hosts a gigantic three-story play structure with slides, zip line, tunnels, places to climb, a rock wall, obstacles and even a tall bear slide that Rosa says made her stomach drop.  They also have a projector floor game that was not working properly while we were there, but we have used them before and they are a ton of fun. There are also games, rides, and skeeball that require the use of additional funds to operate.

There is a wide selection of food available along with a bar that serves craft beers and wine.  We did not try the food ourselves but did talk to a couple of families who did.  A couple of the families said the food was okay and one family was not happy at all with their order (or the fact that the management did not offer a refund on the items).  

There was plenty of seating available for our visit on a Wednesday afternoon, but I can see how space might be limited on the weekend.  Fort Clarkston also hires employees on the weekends to get involved with the kids to facilitate fun and safe games and activities and also to ensure the safety of the guests.  

 There are four party rooms available, which can be merged together to accommodate a larger party. Parties include two hours in a private party room and your own hostess, food, paper products and more.
