It’s Christmas shopping crunch time. As you shop until you drop, make sure to add visiting Santa to your list. Your kids will enjoy seeing jolly old Saint Nick at The Somerset Collection in Troy.

Many people have said that the staff at the Santaland inside Somerset is the best around. Skip the line on weekdays by getting a Santa Pass. Santa starts his day Monday thru Friday at 8:00am. Stop by the Castle Check-In to receive your “same day Santa Pass.” Somerset staff say they try to accommodate all guests but only give out a limited number of same-day passes each day. On weekends, you will have to wait in line before seeing Santa.

Photos are of course available for purchase. One of the options you can pick is purchasing six different professional photos that will be put onto a flash drive for $30. Or you can take your own photos or video for a $15 donation to their 2019 children’s charity, SAY Detroit. Everyone is welcome to sit on Santa’s lap and receive a small treasure. You’re never too young or too old to visit Santa. Remember to bring your wish list. Check out Santa’s schedule here.
