More about Vanhoutte Farms

The farm is owned by Don and Jan Van Houtte whose parents both farmed. In fact, Don built the barn located at 32/Romeo Plank in 1991. They started U-pick flowers in 2016 and this year it has really taken off. In the past however, they have typically focused on the fall season with a Pumpkin Tent. Don grows Giant pumpkins with his largest being over 2,000 lbs.

In addition to visiting the farm, you can buy produce at the Royal Oak and Oakland County Farmers markets on Saturdays as well as Walled Lake farmers market on Wednesdays.
