For the best results, I do recommend chilling your dough before shaping it for cookies.
PREP TIME: 1hr (including time to chill dough)
BAKE TIME: 12 minutes
YIELDS: Varies according to size
Preheat oven to 350°F, and line baking sheet with parchment paper
Blend Cake Mix, water, oil, and eggs in a large bowl until fully blended and moistened. Let chill for 30-45 minutes in the refrigerator
Once dough is ready, rub a bit of vegetable oil onto your hands (to make rolling the dough easier), and form dough into small balls. Place dough about 2in apart on sheet. *We made larger balls then flattened and cut into heart shapes, but this is not necessary 🙂
Bake for about 12 minutes or until edges are slightly browned (center should still be soft)
Remove cookies from oven and allow to cool.
Once cool, spread a thick layer of cream cheese frosting on flat side of one cookie, and sandwich together with another cookie. Repeat for all remaining cookies.
