About Novi ITC Community Sports Park Playgrounds
The Novi ITC Community Sports Park offers two playgrounds for it’s guests. The TreeTops playground is a small playground located near the north entrance, while the The Tim Pope Memorial Play Structure is much larger and near the south entrance.
TreeTops Playground at the ITC Sports Park
In May of 2021 the north playground structure was replaced with a new area designed for not only inclusion, but also for safety. The TreeTops playground aims to transport children to a forest canopy. The play area features two slides, wiggly bridges, several climbing elements as well as build in shade elements. The TreeTops structure is designed for children ages 5 through 12. However, the space includes several elements for toddlers.
Tim Pope Memorial Play Structure at the Novi ITC Community Sports Park
The Tim Pope Memorial Play Structure is the larger of the two playgrounds and is located near the south entrance of the park, off Eight Mile Road. This playground caters to toddlers as well as young children. Toddlers have their own small structure, while older children will enjoy the extra large main structure. Additionally, several freestanding elements could be utilized by all ages. There is also an area in the center that has picnic benches and shade.
The toddler area includes three slides as well as several climbing elements. There are also toddler swings and several free-standing elements for younger guests to enjoy.
The larger play area is extensive with plenty of places for children to run, climb, bounce and jump. Children can challenge their balancing skills on the slack rope, stepping stones along with the balance beam log. If your child likes to climbs there is a ABC wall, climbing net as well as many different ladders.
