Earlier this month sweetgreen opened their second Michigan location in Troy. The new 2,761 square foot restaurant is located on the south side of East Big Beaver, just west of Rochester Road. Indoor seating can accomodate up to 36 diners, with an additonal 30 seats in their outdoor patio section.
sweetgreen Menu
Sweetgreen in Troy offers a wide variety of health-focused hot bowls as well as salads. Their mission is to connect people with real food. The restaurant features organic and locally sourced produce, delivered daily, in all of their menu items. In addition to the standard favorites such as the Harvest Bowl and the Hot Honey Chicken Plate, sweetgreen offers both seasonal menu items as well as items that are only available on their online menu.
The children’s menu includes the Ranch Chicken + Rice together with the Little Harvest. Both are healthy and tasty options for younger guests.
Our Experience at sweetgreen in Troy
We enjoyed our visit to Sweetgreen. I have tried both the salads and warm meals. The portion sizes were large, and the bread from Zingermans was a nice touch. I ordered a couple times through the app, which I felt was convenient. The only downside to the restaurant is a limited kids menu (only two items). You can customize the ingredients in each menu item if there is something you would like to add or delete.
