Auditions for Farmington Hills Youth Theatre Productions of Nickelodeon’s THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL

The Farmington Hills Youth Theatre enthusiastically announces details about auditions for the Summer 2021 production of The SpongeBob Musical (grades 6 to 12). Auditions will take place on June 15 and 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and on June 19 from 9:15 to11:30 a.m. Callbacks will be held on June 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. All auditions will take place at The Hawk Community Center at 29995 Twelve Mile Road in Farmington Hills.

For over 15 years, the Farmington Hills Youth Theatre has provided high quality theatre experiences for young actors. Recent productions have included the virtual presentation of The Show Must Go Online! in Fall 2020, and Elf the Musical Jr and Big Fish in Fall 2019. The SpongeBob Musical will be the Farmington Hills Youth Theatre’s inaugural show in the brand-new Hawk Community Center.

The stakes are higher than ever in this dynamic stage musical, as SpongeBob and all of Bikini Bottom face the total annihilation of their undersea world. Chaos erupts, lives hang in the balance, and just when all hope seems lost, a most unexpected hero rises up and takes center stage.

The Farmington Hills Youth Theatre welcomes and encourages both newcomers and experienced youth actors in grades 6 to 12 to audition for The SpongeBob Musical. Auditions are open to both residents and non-residents of Farmington Hills. The process is easy and friendly, and no prior experience or preparation is necessary. Participants are asked to bring a recent photo to auditions; all other materials are supplied.
