Boulan Park in Troy has a brand-new playground, giving families another reason to add this popular Metro Detroit park to their list!
The new inclusive playground opened in 2026 and features a large climbing structure packed with different ways for kids to climb, slide, spin and explore. Even better for parents, the playground is fully fenced with parking and restrooms conveniently located nearby.
And the playground is just one part of this huge 63-acre park. Boulan Park also has walking paths, sports fields, tennis courts, picnic shelters and plenty of open space, making it an easy spot to spend a few hours with the family.
The New Playground at Boulan Park
The BIGGEST update at Boulan Park is its new inclusive play structure.
This one is especially fun for kids who LOVE to climb. The large elevated structure has multiple climbing elements that lead kids up and through the playground before reaching the slides.

The playground area at Boulan Park is fully fenced, which is a HUGE bonus when you’re keeping an eye on multiple kids.
Parking is also located right next to the playground, so you won’t have to trek across the park carrying all the snacks, water bottles and other things that somehow come along on every park trip. There are also water fountains/bottle refill stations right outside the gate!
