There is seating around the edges of the splash pad, picnic tables with umbrellas as well as concrete steps. Additionally, there are also restrooms in the building next to the fountains.
The spray jets in the fountain are no longer variable as it was when it first opened. Each jet supplies a constant flow of water, which gives children a controlled experience with the water. After a few minutes, a very shallow pool of water forms in the center of the fountain. The pool is very warm compared to the cooler water of the jets.
Parking is available on the street, however, on busier days visitors may have a difficult time finding a parking spot close to the fountains. We arrived about 10 minutes before the Warren splash pad opened and were able to park right across the street from the fountain.
Finally, Rosa (age 9), Carlyn (6), Naomi (3) and Kimberly (2) had a blast splashing and playing in the fountain. (We did too!) The water was very cold, but that didn’t stop the fun. We spent about 90 minutes splashing and playing, which included the time we took to eat a picnic lunch.
