PREP TIME: 20 minutes
BAKE TIME: 10 minutes
YIELDS: Varies according to size (10 medium sized Calzones)

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 Packs Great Value Pizza Crust Mix
  • 1.5 cup hot water
  • Steak (any of your choosing)
  • 1 pack Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 white onion

Preheat oven to 375°F, and line baking sheet with parchment paper (or use non-stick baking sheet)

Brown steak in skillet on medium heat

Sautée onion and green pepper in skillet (sautée in skillet with steak for added flavor… and less dishes)

Blend Pizza Crust Mix using 1.5 cup hot water in a large bowl until fully blended and moistened.

Once dough is mixed, form balls with dough (slightly larger than a golf ball).

Place each ball on flat surface and flatten out to form a circle.

1/2 an inch from edge, add 1/4 cup of steak, pepper, and onion mixture.

Add desired amount of mozzarella cheese on center of dough.

Fold in half to press edges together creating a seal.

Bake for about 10 minutes or until outside is slightly browned.

Remove calzones from oven and allow to cool.
Enjoy!
