A brand new experience is coming to the Ford House this Winter. Starry Lights, an all-new winter light walk will debut tonight (November 18th). This family friendly holiday event features immersive and interactive displays on the grounds of the estate.

The outdoor-only experience takes you through a 3/4 mile tour of the historic estate’s pathways. Guests will experience a wintry starry-sky-themed show of light and sound, featuring projected animations, interactive features, as well as vintage home videos of Edsel and Eleanor Ford’s family.

Bluewater Technologies Group, is responsible for the production of this event, as well as Glenlore Trails in Commerce Township.

During your visit guests may enjoy snacks and warm beverages from their concession stand or The Speedster quick service counter inside the visitor center.

It is important to note that this is an outdoor-only experience. Additionally the 3/4 mile pathway includes gravel walkways and uneven terrain. Finally, the event will be held rain, snow or shine.

Purchase tickets online

Advance tickets: Adults are $20; Children are $12.

Day-of tickets: $25 adults, $15 for children.

Dates: The show runs Thursdays through Sundays from Nov. 18 until Jan. 9.

Masks required inside all Ford House buildings. Also, when you are outdoors, please follow social distancing.

Address: The estate is located at 1100 Lake Shore Road in Grosse Pointe Shores. The property lies on Lake St. Claire.
