Slide down one of the coolest snow tubing hills in Metro Detroit at Bowers School Farm in Bloomfield Hills. The hill features four fast and smooth lanes for an amazing winter experience. Snow tube rental is just $8 per person for one hour. If you are a farm member, then the cost is just $6. The hours for the 2021 season are Thursday and Fridays from 5pm until 9:45 pm. Saturday 1 pm until 10 pm. Glow tubing is also available after dusk for added adventure.
In addition to snow tubing, Bowers School Farm offers a bonfire and free ice skating. Visitors may also shop at the Farm Store or enjoy comfort foods from the Farmer’s Kitchen.
Ambassador Park Sledding Hill in Madison Heights
This seven acre park in Madison Heights not only hosts one of the best sledding hills in metro Detroit, it is also home to a smaller hill and an ice rink. The large hill features a return path up the center of the hill, as well as a fast and smooth path for sledding. Bring your own sled or snow tube.

The Sledding Hill at Beverly Hills Park (aka Beverly Hills Village Park) is the perfect hill for snow tubing. It is located on Beverly Road, just west of Southfield Road. Furthermore, lot parking is available right off of Beverly Road. Beverly Park is a 34-acre park that not only offers an amazing sledding hill but also an ice skating rink in the winter. Sports lovers can enjoy sand volleyball, basketball courts, baseball fields, tennis courts, disc golf as well as nature trails for hiking or biking. The park also hosts a large playground, pavilion, and restrooms. Finally, this park is home to a storybook trail and a Little Free Library.

Rolling Hills County Park in Ypsilanti offers an amazing sledding hill with a 275 foot riding path. The hill also features a fenced path on each side to ensure a safe return to the top of the hill. While you can bring your own sled or tube, they also offer inner tubes for rent. Tube rental is $3 per hour, in addition to park admission. A daily pass is just $6 per vehicle for Washtenaw County Residents while it is $10 for non-county residents. The park is open daily from 8 am until dusk.
