Rochester Municipal Park – Rochester

Today we attended the Arts and Apples Festival in Rochester Municipal Park which is just north of University and west of Main/Rochester Road in Rochester.  The large wooded park has a ton to offer including sand volleyball, tennis courts, a pond, paved walkways, two tot lots and restrooms.  Paint Creek meanders through the park providing a gurgling sounds and beautiful scenery.

We walked around the Festival for some time then visited one of the tot lots.  The tot lot on the northern side of the park provides two separate playgrounds, one for younger children (five and under) and one for children over the age of five.  The park was extremely tidy, with garbage cans and seating available throughout the park.  I was also very impressed by the public restrooms.

We had a ton of fun today.  We hope you enjoy the park as much as we did.
