Visitor’s guide, hours and photo gallery for Rochester Cider Mill.
It’s fall, which means it is time to hit the cider mills for fresh donuts, hand-picked apples, as well as yummy apple cider.
Rochester Cider Mill Hours, Location, and Admission
Admission to the Rochester Cider Mill is free. Their current hours are daily from 9 am until 6 pm. The cider mill is located at 5125 North Rochester Road in Rochester, Michigan. It is on the east side of the road, north of Mead Road and south of Snell.
They offer fresh cider, donuts, vegetables, apples, candy and caramel apples, apple crisp, pies, honey, syrup, popcorn, cinnamon and apple sticks and farm fresh eggs. In addition to the farm-fresh goodies, they offer many different items you can use to decorate your home including corn stalks, straw, hay, pumpkins, and much more.
This year the farm is offering a small petting farm that includes pigs and chickens. Families may also enjoy the giant hay climbing pyramid. Inside the building guests can explore the antique wall of farm tools. Finally, outside, in the front, the farm offers a few items children can climb and play on.
The Cider Mill
The main attraction of a cider mill is seeing the press. However, the Rochester Cider Mills generally does their pressing on Monday and Friday mornings. In fact, the mill uses a 150-year-old leather belt driven cider press to squeeze juice from the highest quality Michigan apples.
Altogether, we enjoyed our morning. It has a small-town charm and relaxed atmosphere that sets it apart from other mills, and best of all, admission and activities are free!!
