Once Upon a Time Princess Parties – Review

I love to celebrate, especially birthdays.  And all three of our girls celebrate their birthdays in July, so we threw one big party to celebrate this year.  It was a lot of fun.  Rosleigh turned 7, Carlyn will be 4 and Naomi will be 1.

Each year we do a themed birthday, but this year we had the opportunity to have Anna and Elsa from Once Upon a Time Princess Parties entertain the children.  We have been working with the company for quite some time and traded advertising (and this review) for the Enchanted Princess Package.  So, as always, my opinions are genuine and your experience may differ.

First, planning was a breeze.  Once Upon a Time Princess Parties emailed me a couple of times to figure out what our needs were then sent us over a contract to sign.

A couple days before our event the owner sent me a tips sheet email.. which I really should have read.  About 10 minutes before their arrival, Anna called and let me know they were on their way.  At this point I was supposed to stop what I was doing and make sure that I had the camera ready to catch the look on my girls’ faces when Anna and Elsa came in.. that didn’t happen.  I was so busy getting ready, I missed it completely.

Elsa and Anna were fantastic.  They arrived and greeted my girls and other guests, then set up the sound system.  They performed a 45 minute interactive show where all the kids (even the shy boys) were participating within about 20 minutes.

After the show Elsa and Anna allowed for parent to take pictures with them, in both a group setting and individual shots.

They led the kids into dinner and Elsa and Anna spent some time applying temporary tattoos to any of the children (and adults) that wanted them.

Elsa and Anna then led everyone as we sang Happy Birthday to the children.  Anna saved the day, as my lighter died… and she had a spare.  Thanks!

The kids did a dance with Elsa and Anna while I cut the cake and served the ice cream.

Then Elsa and Anna read a story to the kids while they enjoyed the cake and ice cream.

Finally, they led the kids in more songs and games to wrap up their time with us.

By far this was the best birthday the girls have had so far.  I am sure this will be something they will remember (at least Rosa and Carlyn) and having the ladies here to help entertain the children freed up a lot of my time.. as the hostess I actually had time to sit and visit with the guests.

Having Once Upon a Time Princess Parties there provided the party with a great structured plan for the event.  Elsa and Anna really know their stuff.  They involved each of the children and made the girls feel super special at the same time.  The songs and games were a ton of fun, they were energetic, professional, and did a great job staying in character throughout the whole event.

I highly recommend Once Upon a Time Princess Parties for your next special event.  In addition to Anna and Elsa, the company offers many different princesses, princes, royal characters, fairies, superheroes and more.
