Visitor’s Guide, hours, ticket info and photo gallery for IllumiZoo – a Glenlore Tale at John Ball Zoo. Dazzling Halloween themed light show.
IllumiZoo – a Glenlore Tale
There is another fantastic installment of A Glenlore Tale in Michigan. Recently the dazzling light show debuted at the John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids. However, this presentation makes connections between wildlife and wild places.

The one-mile path leads guests through a mesmerizing journey of colors together with spooky sounds. While the path is filled with sounds and lights, the adventure is suitable for all ages and is not scary. Most guests take about 45-60 minutes to walk the path. A pleasant surprise is that the path is both stroller and wheelchair friendly.

Guests will maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet during their visit. In addition, guests ages five and older will wear a mask while participating in the experience. Finally, the Zoo’s animals will not be on display during the Glenlore Tale experience.
